Traditionally, this has been one of our most popular annual events, and I am delighted that two wonderful ladies from the Body Shop will come to bring samples, do hand massages and a bit of a facial. Soup and Pud a la Randy will follow your relaxing morning. This is for mothers and women carers, but not for children. I’m afraid that you will need to make alternate arrangements for your little ones that day if you would like to come to truly relax. We can only take 10 women for this event, so I suggest that you sign up very early as spaces are likely to go quickly. |

| We invite all Our Place families to drop in for this coffee morning so that they can meet Jaggie Ball and Staff members from CCS and we invite CCS families to come in to see Our Place. This is a "transition" before adoption morning when everyone will have an informal chance to meet and view and chat with families and staff from both organisations. It is with huge pleasure that I welcome Dr. Schulte back to Our Place. Dr. Schulte has been a Consultant Community Paediatrician at North Bristol for many years, and she is the designated doctor for safeguarding children for Bristol and South Gloucestershire. Over the years, Dr. Schulte has been one of our "highest rated" speakers as she completely understands adopted and looked after children and their parents/carers. Dr. Schulte is a Trustee at CCS, so her connection with our prospective "adopters" adds to her many other plaudits in presenting this workshop. We will provide crèche and will try to include as many participants as possible, but you must sign up in advance so that we can make plans to include you and your children. |

It is always hard to know how much leeway one should give to children and how the issues of control figure into this equation.
